I've got a little problem with your anti-sprites policy. I know you're getting ENOUGH shit over you and your inconsistency with art theft, but this seriously bothers me. If you do read this rather unformal journal, I'd like to point out that sprites are, in fact, a form of art. I realize it might be so-called illegal to use things which have copyright stamps on them, but you know, give me ONE example where nintendo or sega or sony or whatever has complained about someone using sprites, and if we modify them it makes them slightly more personaified, and as long as we give credit for our "edited" sprites, it should be fine. Now, I have a question. WHY is it, that people can get away with DRAWING a sega or nintendo character and get away with it as a "tribute" as long as they add a (c), whereasin sprites, while I understand are less original than a drawing, are another form of art, pixelated art, which can be deviated far, FAR from their sega or capcom or megaman or whatever base, yet still count as ripping someone off even if you give credit for the bases? Hey, here's a crazy frikken' concept: SPRITES ARE ART. If it's really a bad, worthless, stolen pile of junk, PEOPLE WILL GET ON THE AUTHOR'S CASE. Why not let the PEOPLE decide if a certain work of art that happens to be a sprite IS SHIT OR NOT? Okay? I'm sure they're big boys fully capable of, you know, CRITICISM. I mean, you see a yellow megaman zero, you're GONNA comment. Some people actually LIKE sprites. This is deviant-ART! That means ART! And sprites are art, okay? so please. It's all in the mix, I KNOW it's less honorable than sitting infront of paper and scribbling crap and cging it and I know it's alot more pretty but some people DO like to mess with sprites and make very good ones at that.

A friend of mine, Artist name: Karibe, recently had a sheet of his deleted because it was pixelated art.

THESE WERE NINETY NINE PERCENT SCRATCH. He did it with his own FRIKKEN PENCIL TOOL, didn't use a base of any kind, AND THEY STILL GOT FREAKING BANNED! THAT WAS PURE ORIGINAL SPRITING AND YOU BAN IT, YOU IRRATIONAL BASTARDS!

You'll notice that I am getting myself banned. I don't care. I don't use this account. I don't use any accounts. I don't upload anything because I'D GO THROUGH A TWENTY STEP PROCESS TO UPLOAD ONE PICTURE JUST TO GET THE THING BANNED! OKAY?! YOU'RE NOT A GOOD COMMUNITY!
